Bristle worms, or oligochaetes, are a large and diverse group of invertebrates. Most oligochaetes living in this region live in fresh or brackish water: no fewer than 136 species in total. They play an important ecological role thereby giving much information about the condition of the ecosystem. This important, bulky book is the first reference work on the freshwater and brackish water polychaetes in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Dit is het tweede datarapport van de monitoring door het INBO van de site Fort Sint-Filips na de voltooiing van de inrichting (juli 2021). In dit rapport tonen we datareeksen van voor de start (T0 = 2019) tot en met het tweede jaar na afwerking van de inrichting in 2022. Voor het eerst rapporteren we hier de gegevens van watervogels, vegetatie en sedimentkarakteristieken. Daarnaast tonen we de evoluties in geomorfologie, macrobenthos en het hyperbenthos. Voor het macrobenthos en voor watervogels tekenen zich positieve trends af na de inrichting. Ook de sedimentsamenstelling, die nog vrij onnatuurlijk was in 2021, veranderde overwegend naar deze van een natuurlijk, functioneel slikgebied. Vegetatieontwikkeling is nog zeer pril met vroege pioniersfases met aquatische algen en de uitbreiding van riet, vermoedelijk vanuit enkele relicten. Meer uitgebreide, diepgaande en gedetailleerde analyses en evaluaties zijn voorzien voor het eindrapport in 2024.
